INFLATABLE KAYAKING

Inflatable Kayaks (IKs) are versatile and fun boats, providing an exciting and accessible dimension of whitewater paddling. IKs can be brought on any river trip that Riverroots offers.

Inflatable Kayak Clinics (Minimum Age: 10 years)

A high performance inflatable kayak can be substituted for a hard shell kayak on any of Riverroots’ kayak clinics.

These IKs offer more stability and easier re-entry than hard shell kayaks. At the same time, these high performance IKs are more maneuverable than a traditional IK, enabling the paddler to learn about and utilize the river’s features as a hard shell kayaker would.

• Swimsuit
• Synthetic or fleece top
• Medications that you might need on the trip, especially for allergic reactions or asthma
